Chapter History
Earlier Life
David Andrew Vanson was born January 18th 1955 to John and Jennifer Vanson, both aged twenty. The two were devoted, loving parents, although young. They taught David themselves, and due to him being their only child and student, he learned well, being able to learn at his own pace. David was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder at twelve, having always and continued on often having mood swings from anger to happiness. He did well and was quite intelligent. When David was seventeen, his father was killed during a bank robbery, along with several other people. Although at first rocked, within weeks David seemed to no longer being effected.
Murders
Never bothered by violence and similar, having been introduced to and understanding it from an early age, David became fascinated with murder and death. He soon began murdering people in his spare time for study. By twenty-three, he'd killed seven people and mutilated their bodies, including a four-year-old boy. Detective Thomas Englund cracked down on him and on February 12th 1985, he was arrested on nine accounts of murder. While on trial, David plead guilty and seemed unfazed. Within three months, he escaped jail, killed the guards, tracked down Englund, and killed him.
Becoming known around the world as a first-class psychopath, manhunts were put after David, who became known as simply 'Vanson'. To this day, sightings of him are increasingly rare and he is presumed dead.

Thorns
In 2006, Vanson showed up in L.A. near a homeless shelter. While there he found his mother Jennifer Vanson. He originally intended to kill her, but instead toyed with her and eventually allowed the Dollman to kill her for him. Confronted, he escaped the Dollman and went on to kill his father in another part of L. A. while being confronted by Officer McKenzie. He escaped once more. On Halloween, he confronted James Carpenter, Carol Robertson, the Johnsons, former Detective Jenny and Isaac Davis, but was shot by Officer McKenzie. He survived and nursed his own wounds.
Taking up residence in an apartment under the alias of Michael Jameson, he later killed an alcoholic man named Jim. Vanson smoked and awaited the passage of time...
Regular Appearance
David changes his clothes and identity frequently to avoid detection. His only noticeable trait that doesn't seem to disappear is his facial scar.
